Accedian Networks™ announces that Martin Lebeau, the Company’s Vice President Finance and CFO was named an ‘Ace of Finance’ by the Québec Chapter of Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada) in its first annual The Aces of Finance contest. The contest recognizes and rewards three financial executives in Quebec who have distinguished themselves in one of three categories: Public Corporation, Private Corporation, and Emerging Financial Executive. Martin won in the ‘Emerging Financial Executive’ category based on his professional achievements, his exceptional contributions to Quebec-based Accedian Networks, and his involvement in community service.

In a press release issued last week by the Quebec Chapter of FEI Canada, Bertrand Lauzon, President of the contest organizing committee stated: “Over the last few years, the role of the financial executive has become increasingly more complex, and now carries greater responsibility. In such a context, it's crucial for financial executives to be treated as business partners that can add value. This contest thus serves to recognize those financial executives and to promote the values so deeply held by members of FEI Canada.”

“FEI Canada is well-recognized for the caliber of its membership which includes an elite group of Canada’s top senior financial executives,” said Patrick Ostiguy, CEO and President at Accedian Networks. “To be recognized by this highly respected association as an ‘Ace of Finance’ is a tremendous public validation of Martin’s career achievements to date. Without a doubt, Martin has played a pivotal role in Accedian’s journey from a small start-up to the number one provider of performance assurance solutions for mobile backhaul networks in North America. His contributions to this Company have been, and continue to be, immeasurable.”
