Fixmo Advances MRM Solution for iOS and Android to Address Growing IT Compliance and BYOD Security Needs

Company Extends Device Integrity, Mobile Security and Mobile Risk Management Solutions for BlackBerry, iOS and Android Devices with Fixmo Sentinel 4.3

Fixmo, the mobile risk management company, today announced the latest version of its enterprise mobility platform for securing mobile devices, monitoring system integrity and maintaining regulatory compliance. The new Fixmo Sentinel 4.3 brings expanded device integrity, compliance and policy management capabilities to iOS and Android devices giving government organizations and enterprises a single view into their mobile security, threat posture and state of compliance across all mobile devices and platforms.

Fixmo's device integrity and compliance monitoring technology was developed as part of a Co-operative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA). Originally developed for BlackBerry smartphones, Fixmo Sentinel now offers advanced integrity monitoring, policy management and compliance reporting across the latest BlackBerry, iOS and Android devices. Fixmo Sentinel is included as part of the Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) for BlackBerry and Android deployments within U.S. Department of Defense agencies.

-- Restrict use of Camera and Bluetooth

-- Remote lock/wipe

-- Expanded MDM support for Apple iOS 5 devices including: -- Restrict usage of personal services such as YouTube, Siri and iCloud

-- Whitelist/blacklist applications and "push" required apps directly to employees

-- Enable/disable access to GPS and location services

-- Support for Apple's Volume Purchase Plan (VPP) for managing distribution of application license keys to employees

-- Integrated management of Fixmo SafeZone secure workspace for iOS and Android: -- Manage Fixmo SafeZone secure workspace deployments for secure corporate email, browsing, documents and applications on iOS and Android devices from within the Fixmo Sentinel management console
